A new name for G&T provision online

The Youth Sport Trust has re-branded its gifted and talented website to make it easier for users to find the area they need. The three core areas have changed their name and are set to undergo a new look in the summer.

The below overview shows the changes to each area:

Talented in Sport

Talent Ladder will now be known as Talented in Sport. The site is aimed at talented performers in sport, their teachers, coaches and parents. The recently revamped website provides information and resources that will be able to help guide and provide support for talented young performers in sport, so they can realise both their academic and sporting potential.

There are useful sections on what schools can do to support the four pillars that make up the JAE Framework and how they can implement that support using JAE Talent Support. The website also brings you the latest news from across the country and updates on our key events such as the National Talent Orientation Camp.

Gifted in PE

Talent Matters will now be known as Gifted and PE. The Gifted in PE website aims to provide practitioners in Physical Education with information and resources to support the development of gifted pupils in PE.

The website includes an overview of the Quality Standards, alongside online reporting tools for teachers and pupils, a section covering the model for development in PE, a guide to developing your own G&T policy and useful links. The website is to undergo considerable development over the summer.

G&T Plus

Talent Plus will now be known as the G&T Plus. It will continue to house important documents and downloads and is set to undergo development over the summer to include video resources and extensive information on the five abilities.
