As essential elements of the Long Term Athlete Development framework, it is crucial that multi-skill programmes, such as Multi-skill Clubs and Multi-skill Academies are linked and form part of the player pathway for young people. To further establish this link, grants for both Clubs and Academies in 2008/09 will be issued via the Partnership Development Manager at the same time.
2008/09 Funding Allocation
- £300 per SSP to support the delivery of Multi-skill Clubs
- £750 per SSP who will be running a Multi-skill Academy for the first time in 2008/09 OR
- £500 per SSP who have previously run a Multi-skill Academy
